Physical activity is an important component of wellness.  By being physically active, we enhance our physical health, our mood, and feel our best!  Having trouble finding ways to lead a more active lifestyle or want to find new physical activities to try?  Here are some activities to get in involved in as a West Chester student.

As rams, we are fortunate to have a state of the art rec center right here on campus!  The Campus Rec Center is located right behind Lawrence Dining Hall.  Whether you like to lift weights or do cardio, the rec has what you need!

Ever play racquetball before?  Try it, you won’t regret it!

Like to exercise with friends?  Then try group fitness!  Check out some of the group fitness classes like Cycle & Tone, BODYPUMP, and Yoga – just to name a few.  I highly recommend taking Zumba with Wellness Education’s very own Sam Tatulli!

If you’re feeling adventurous, check out the rock climbing wall.  Every Wednesday from 6pm-9pm is Game Night on the wall.  Games will vary each week.  And if you’re a climbing enthusiast, be sure to sign up for Belay classes every Thursday.

Check out Campus Recreation’s website to find an activity that works for you:
