Love fresh and affordable produce?  Well then, we’ve got a place for you! West Chester Growers Market is a truly local market. They carry only handmade and homegrown products.

Not only can you find fresh fruits and veggies but you can also find:

  • Flowers
  • Artisinal soap
  • Free range meats
  • Oven fresh bread
  • Locally produced cheese
  • Homemade preserves and relishes
  • Fresh baked goods

The best part is that the Growers Market is in walking distance of the University, located in the parking lot on the corner of North Church and West Chestnut St.  Below is a map to help you find it. It’s open on Saturdays 9am to 1pm, rain or shine, May through December.

The type of produce available are starting to change. Not to worry though, the stands still have apples, broccoli, lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, potatoes, pumpkin, squash, and much more to choose from! Fall is a time where you can still include fresh fruits and veggies in your diet. Check out this fun and easy recipe for spaghetti squash from the Food Network.
